THELMA
Thelma is 2 years old. She is very playful and energetic. She is very healthy. Her only issue (which is a major one) , is she is food aggressive (her dish - not treats or toys.) Many of these hybrid mixes ) most from commercial breding farms & puppy mills) had to fend for themselves - who gets the food eats and this may be why. She was not corrected so continued to be this way. We have corrected some - she will sit & wait for you to put her food down & wait until you say OK. However,t once you do - it's belongs to her and she is very protective of it. For this reason, she will only be placed in an adult home (no kids or cats.) She is really not fond of other dogs - very alpha in her mind. She loves all of us & cuddles and plays - otherwise. She prefers the male of the foster home - will lay next to him & sleep. A home with a fence would be best too -her Jack Russell's side loves to run & chase. She does have ATTITUDE and on going trainning is need. She want "HER WAY" and will snap or growl to get it (which we do not give in too.)
She is housetrained & crated trained ( really doesn't like the crate much) , up to date on shots; spayed, heartworm negative & micro chipped. For the right home - she will be a wonderful addition. SNICKERS
SNICKERS is 2.5 yrs old, fawn , neutered and a wonderful full bred pug. Adoption fee is 350.00. More info soon. He will be at the Pet Expo Saturday April 17 and maybe PetCo North Shore League event April 25th.
